MY EXPERIENCE IN THE TRADES
The beginnings of HomeTown Home Renovations
In 1986 as a young man, I started in the Construction Trades with my uncle, starting with building 3 start to finish, houses in Florida. In 1989 I spent the summer building a spec house with another uncle. I then, as a young man, started my own first home repair company for a few years.
In 1996, I then accepted a construction management job in Kalamazoo, MI with a national construction development company as a Structural Repair Supervisor. I worked there for 16 years being involved in all aspects of structural building and repairing development housing.
In 2012, I started a Home Inspection Company in Southwest Michigan area and spent 12 years providing home inspections, Radon Testing, Lead Testing and Air Quality Testing services. Company was upscaled to add additional employees and a home office in Southwest Michigan.
Then I went back to my beginnings...
Then I moved to Beulah, MI my new Home Town...
In 2021-2024 I renovated 3 full house "flips" for a home investor acquaintance. Completing updating basement, interior and interiors and garages on all 3 property's. I also worked locally for contractors and I found some of my new wonderful clients. So then it started...
In 2022, I started HomeTown Home Renovations LLC in my new home town of Beulah, MI. I provide Handyman, Renovations and Home Services for our coastline communities. And HomeTown was born. Excited to meet and work throughout my local community.
